A depletion of lying snow during the last 24hrs, with a dry breeze blowing. Much of the snow has "disappeared" not so much through melting as through evaporation, whereby snow directly becomes invisible water vapour--a cleaner way of getting rid of it! The really observant may have spotted a little snow flurry yesterday evening.
