An  Atlantic low will move ENE to the North of Scotland. Pressure remains high in the SW approaches. A colder NW airstream will become established over Britain.

A clear start to the day, though nippy initially.

WEDNESDAY
Some morning clear skies with sunshine, but later, cloud will increase, leading to a generally cloudy afternoon. Highest temperatures up to around 7, with moderate SW winds.
During the evening, some rain is likely, though amounts will be small, but winds will strengthen somewhat. It should become dry & clear later in the night.

THURSDAY
Broken cloud & spells of sunshine, but feeling colder in brisk NW winds. It should remain mostly dry. Highest temperatures will reach around 5 or 6 degrees. There will be a frost overnight.

The WEEKEND promises to be largely dry & bright, though chilly by day & frosty overnight.
