A deep low over Norway will move away. Pressure is high over the SW approaches & promises to build over Britain over the weekend. A cold front brought a belt of rain overnight & introduced a clearer, colder airstream.
THURSDAY
Much of the day will be dry, with perhaps just a shower or two early on There will be a fresh N.W. wind at first, gradually moderating. Following on from a very mild evening, with temperatures into double figures, today will be somewhat colder, with best temperatures nearer to 6.
Tonight will see clear spells, light winds & some frost.
FRIDAY
A dry day is expected with some sunshine, especially in the morning. The afternoon may see an increase of cloud at high & medium levels. It will feel cold, as temperatures struggle around 2 or 3 degrees.
WEEKEND
Dry with some sunshine, but cold, with frost night & morning.
