Pressure is low over Greenland & Iceland, but high over Biscay & N France. The high pressure will migrate slowly N. over the English Channel. Mild W winds will cover Britain, with a few weak fronts affecting especially Northern areas at times. Well above average ( both max & min temperatures) occurred during the night.
MONDAY
A dry day is expected, with some good sunny periods & only small amounts of cloud developing. Winds will be mainly from the W. & following a mild start, temperatures will tend to hold at present values, around 7 or 8 degrees.
During the hours of darkness, clear periods will allow temperatures to fall to about 2, rising a little later as cloud increases.
TUESDAY
It should again be dry & bright, though probably with more cloud around, especially at high & medium levels. Mild again at about 8, with a moderate SW breeze.
