HEADLINES @ 1645Hrs
Early morning brightness was quickly replaced with a sheet of high & medium-level cloud which persisted throughout the day. The thermometer only rose to 3.0 degrees & only a very slow thaw took place. On the positive side, the fresh breeze early on, fell very light as the day went on.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Temperatures will fall slowly this evening, hovering around 0 to +1. Later in the night, a couple of warm fronts will approach the area from the S.W. bringing thicker cloud & some rain & intrducing some milder air for tomorrow

WEDNESDAY
It is likely to be a mostly cloudy day. The morning especially, is likely to be dull & misty, as milder air moves over the snow-covered ground. There is also likely to be some rain & more of a breeze from the S.W.  Temperatures eventually should rise to 7 or 8 & the thaw will accelerate.
