HEADLINES @ 1600Hrs
It was dry with broken cloud & sunshine for much of the day, but there was a showery period around 1500---1545Hrs.
There are more showers up-wind of us & many over the higher ground are falling as snow. There is still a chance of another shower or two, perhaps sleety.
It was a colder day & maximum temperatures only managed 4.9 (a full 5 degrees down on yesterday)
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Despite the chance of the odd shower, it will be dry with some clear spells for much of the time. Later on in the night, temperatures may rise a little as cloud increases. Lowest air temperatures close to zero, with a widespread ground frost.
OUTLOOK
