Following the sleety showers in Pitlochry yesterday evening, it's no surprise to see a snow cover on the surrounding hills this morning. It's a nippy start to the day & more rain this evening. COMING SHORTLY---FACTS & FIGURES FOR NOVEMBER

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Crunchy walking across the grass this morning. Dry for the most part for much of daylight hours, temperature rising to a max. of 6 or 7. Cloud & wind increasing late in the day bringing more rain for the evening & into the night.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A wet evening & first part of the night, with strong winds. From the early hours, it should become dry with a few clear spells, though still windy. Minimum temperature about 2.

THURSDAY
A cold, breezy day, with some dry, sunny weather & perhaps an odd shower about. Max.temp. only 5, with a moderate frost by dawn.
