HEADLINES @ 0900Hr
Nippy yesterday evening, but the cloud & slight rain have brought a return of the mild weather. There is currently a fair amount of rain in the west, but much of it is failing to reach the East coast, with Pitlochry just getting the tail- end of what is left .LAST YEAR AT THIS TIME WE WERE ABOUT TO FEEL A NASTY TASTE OF WINTER (see details further down page). NO REPEAT THIS YEAR!!
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Mainly cloudy this morning, with some mainly light rain at times. (It will be much wetter further west) The afternoon should be both drier & brighter. Winds will be fresh from the S or SW & it will be milder than yesterday at around 11.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some clear skies this evening will allow temperatures to fall to around 4, but overnight, cloud will increase, bringing a little rain & rising temperatures.
THURSDAY
Windy from the S to SW. Cloudy to start the day, perhaps with a little rain, but it should become dry & brighten later. Mild again, maximum up to 11.
