HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Pressure is high over N. Europe & low over the Atlantic. A mild SE airflow covers the British Isles. A slow-moving front that threatened to give a lot of rain locally, is still around but has weakened comnsiderably.  A reasonable weekend seems in prospect.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Cloudy for most of the time, but there could just be a few brighter intervals. (The more western parts will see more of the sun today) There will be a few outbreaks of mainly light rain--one area of rain is likely around 0930H. There will also be dry periods today. The wind will be mod. to fresh from the S to SE & maximum temperatures should reach an above-average 12.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Remaining mostly cloudy, but apart from an odd patch of light rain or drizzle, it should be dry. Remaining mild, with lowest temperature around 8 or 9.

FRIDAY
Mainly cloudy, but mostly dry, with S to SE winds bringing temperatures up to about 10.
