HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Following on a chilly evening, increasing cloud, bringing rain, raised temperatures into the mild category duing the night. This was the work of a warm front & tonight will see the repercussions of a cold front, introducing a swing back to colder conditions for tomorrow. All part of a very unsettled westerly spell at the present time.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A mild, but windy day ahead.   It will be generally cloudy, with mainly light rain on occasions, but some dry & perhaps brighter spells too. Further west of Pitlochry will see heavier & more persistent rain. Maximum temperatures will be around 11 or 12. Winds fresh to strong from the SW.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some heavier & more persistent rain expected this evening, brought by a cold front. This will see winds from the SW swing round to the NW, always fresh to strong. Colder conditions will follow during the night, minimum temperatures down towards 4, as skies clear somewhat.

SUNDAY
Dry for much of the time, with some brightness & perhaps the odd shower. Very windy at first, moderating later in the day. Feeling colder than Saturday, with highest temperatures only around 7.
