AVERAGES & EXTREMES NOVEMBER
For longer outlook periods, surface pressure charts, mountain weather & severe weather warnings, go to the Met Office's regional forecasts and click the relevant headings.
HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
There were actually clear skies until at least 0400H, with a low air min. & a slight ground frost. Unfortunately, North Sea "clag"has now enveloped us & looks like sticking. Only getting to the west of the mountains can guarantee brighter skies!
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Disappointing after yesterday. Those seeking some sunshine will have to travel well to the west or north west. So for Pitlochry, much as now, with low cloud down on the hills, odd patches of drizzle, a moderate breeze from the E or SE & a maximum temperature of 9.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Continuing in similar vein, with low cloud, drizzle patches, but temperatures falling no lower than 8.
MONDAY
Probably little change, with the E to SE wind bringing in plenty of low cloud from the North Sea to our part of the world.
