SUN. 7th SEPT.

A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.

I met a gentleman yesterday afternoon, working outdoors, wisely clutching a large umbrella. I made some comment to the effect that he would need that before too long. His reply was most encouraging----
" Yes, I checked the radar before leaving home"      Great stuff!!

Today actually looks much better than was the case 24hrs ago. True, some areas of the far NE of Scotland won't be at their best ( to put it mildly ),  in fact there are still a few showers over the Southern Cairngorms, but I'm hopeful that in Pitlochry, it should stay dry, though don't expect warmth or wall to wall  sunshine!!
