THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY
.Pressure is high & is expected to last right over Easter & beyond. This will ensure dry & settled conditions.
Cloud amounts, however, will be variable & sunshine not always in plentiful supply, nor will temperatures exceed 14 or 15 at best.
But all that isn't bad, considering Easter does NOT have a great reputation for stunning weather. Professional Met Men say that snow is more likely at Easter than Christmas (even allowing for the fact that Easter can occur
quite late in April ). So, especially behind glass & facing any sun, you may feel really warm at some stage
this Easter. Even the increasingly popular pavement cafes may be " just the job" if the sun is shining on you!
(I wonder if pavement cafes are to be found in Kirkwall, Lerwick, or even far beyond the Arctic Circle--or is it more to do with smoking than feeling a bit nippy!?)
