MON 20th APRIL

A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!

THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY

YESTERDAY---Fine weather continued & though patches of cloud made the sun weak at times & a brisk E
wind felt rather chilly, the thermometer still managed 16.1, an above-average figure. In fact 13 days out of 19
have had above average temperature. The brightest star I can recall ever seeing, continues to dominate the western sky on a clear evening (planet venus)
SCOTLAND again dominated the extremes, including a sunny Stornoway ( 13.9hrs), though Wick Airport was a depressing 8.3 degrees at best.

TODAY---A cloudy morning, but high pressure continues to dominate & I'm sure it will become brighter with some sunshine on occasions. Temperatures should reach 14 or 15.

FURTHER OUTLOOK---High pressure will hold until late Thursday before finally losing its grip.
Thereafter, several depressions are lined up to make things rather more changeable.
