I HAVE A CLOSE EYE ON RAINFALL RADAR AT PRESENT  (One of my daughters phoned earlier this afternoon, to let me know that last night, she experienced the worst thunderstorm in her life.)

Nothing alarming at present, but there is likely to be some light rain about overnight. The greatest risk of very heavy showers is Saturday p.m.

TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY

Something of a "dog's dinner" today, with amounts of cloud & how much, if any rain, the big uncertainties.
Maximum Temperature  19 to 21       Wind    E to SE  3 or 4       Overnight minimum   14
                               East Coast 16

Both the morning & afternoon should stay dry with no heavy rain showing on the predictive rainfall radar chart before Saturday afternoon, though some light rain may fall before then.

OUTLOOK---Very unsettled with always the chance of some intense showers, perhaps with hail
& thunder & localised flooding. It should however stay on the warm side, with a few sunny intervals. Next week should start warm, though less humid when W winds return.
