SOLAR ECLIPSE----FRIDAY 20th MARCH (BEST AROUND 0930)--UPDATE SAT 21st
Down here in LONDON, it was cloudy & cold during the eclipse (which was only 85%anyway), with nothing to see. There was a bit of a power surge, as people who had been out staring at "nothing", came back indoors to have a tea or coffee& warm up.
One guy, however, sat at his laptop looking at Victoria's Webcam Pitlochry, noting despite the sunshine, how dark it was with most cars having their headlights on around 0930.
Usual service later next week, with perhaps a temperature graph to see whether the eclipse caused a temporary fall in temperature.
