Another cloudy day, with rain at times, some moderate in intensity, though the worst of it is now further north. There is flooding around Elgin & Kingussie & the 0755 Highland Chieftain rail service from Inverness to London Kings Cross has already been cancelled, with Scotrail services also disrupted.
It will be very cool today, with temperatures more akin to those of early October. Winds will be W4, gusting to force 6 on occasions.
