TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY

A ridge of high pressure is now building from the SW & this should kill off the showery activity that affected some places, not far away, yesterday.  So today should be dry, with broken cloud & some spells of sunshine.
However, temperatures are expected to be a degree or so below the seasonal norm.
Max.Temp. 17          Wind   NW2           Overnight Min. Temp.  8

SATURDAY---Rather cloudy, though any rainfall should be only light & occasional (more expected further W ).
It is expected to stay rather on the cool side, with the SW wind becoming fresh, with gusts to force 6 in exposed places,

SUNDAY---Should be generally brighter & though generally dry, there is a risk of one or two showers in the area.
Probably feeling even cooler, with a fresh NW wind, gusting to force 6 in the more exposed areas.
