YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
Monday proved disappointing on sunshine amounts & it was windy into the bargain. Nevertheless, it was the mildest day this month to date, up to 9.2.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
A large high pressure system is situated over Mid Atlantic. Pressure is low over Scandinavia. Between the two, Britain is in a NW airflow.During this week, the Atlantic high will weaken & move slowly south, leaving Britain in more of a SW flow, promising more changeable conditions.
