YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
Predominantly low cloud & misty, with some occasional drizzle. My forecast was over-optimistic on temperature, as some cold air moved north from England, keeping the maximum to just 2.8 However, Pitlochry had no frost last night, as opposed to many parts of England, including a minus 16 at HOLBEACH (LINCS)
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
High pressure over S.E. England & a large, strong high over the Atlantic. The latter will set up a NW airflow over Britain for the start of next week.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Mainly cloudy, with some of this cloud low, giving misty conditions, perhaps with some drizzle patches.Afternoon temperatures up to 5 or 6, with light winds.
