Somewhat of a let-off in amount of lying snow. Cloudy all day, with some rain or sleet on occasions & feeling cold.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high to the west of Spain & the high over Russia looks like keeping the East of Britain on the cold side all week. Fronts will always be close by to the west, but look weak & unlikely to bring either mild or wet weather to our part of the world.
