Following a slight frost in the early part of the night, temperatures have risen sharply, as air from an Atlantic source has flooded in on strong NW winds.It is expected to be a dry day, though quite windy (there's already been a gust to 23mph ), with NW winds around force 4 to 5 on average. Though not feeling all that mild in the wind, temperatures should reach their highest of the month to date, maximum close to 8 degrees. There should be some decent spells of sunshine, interspersed with patches of cumulus cloud. TONIGHT, it may become more cloudy for a time, but by morning, temperatures will have dropped fairly close to freezing.

A dry day, with generous amounts of sunshine & respectable temperatures. It did turn chilly during the evening, but the situation changed overnight.
