Much of the rain around today will occur to the west of our area, while the East Coast may well stay dry throughout. Pitlochry may have a little occasional light rain in the next hour or two. Winds will be SW around force 4 or 5, with highest temperatures reaching about 8 degrees. TONIGHT should be mainly dry with lighter winds, rather cloudy at times & no frost.

Dry & bright with some sunshine. There was no snow south of Dunkeld & none over Fife (except on the highest ground )THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high to the S & SW of Britain & low over the Atlantic & around Iceland. The whole week is likely to see Britain under the influence of mild, changeable conditions, with mainly SW winds.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
