Winds will be mainly force 3 or less today, mainly from the west, though freshening from the SW tonight. A cold day ahead, with highest temperatures only around 3 degrees.

YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
The snow showers came in rather more readily than predicted, though there was no accumulation of snow during daylight hours. However, the early evening showers, supported by falling temperatures, did succeed in giving a covering. It became frosty overnight under clear skies.THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Britain is covered by a ridge of high pressure & many places should be dry & quite sunny. But then, it's all change for tomorrow, with the mild SW winds returning, bringing Atlantic fronts in, setting the pattern for next week.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Mainly cloudy with some rain from time to time. Winds becoming SW force 4 or 5 & temperatures eventually reaching about 9 degrees. Any remaining snow should soon disappear.
