Following on yesterday evening's sharp shower, the night was fine & chilly. A rainbow in the western sky suggests a shower is on the way!---But overall, not a bad day ahead!
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Predictive radar shows a shower around 0830/0900Hrs. Much of the day, however, should be dry with broken cloud & some sunshine. Any showers will tend to occur further west, while near the East Coast, amounts of sunshine should be at their greatest. Maximum temperature around 17.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some sunshine at first, but gradually clouding up later in the evening. Some rain will arrive from the S.W. later in the night. Temperatures will start to fall initially, but will recover as the cloud thickens & rain commences.
OUTLOOK
FRIDAY----It is likely to be an overcast & wet start to the day. By lunchtime, the rain should be dying out & clouds should lift & break at times during the afternoon. It will feel warm in any afternoon sunshine. Maximum 18.
WEEKEND----Windy, with broken cloud giving sunny intervals, but also some showers. Cooler on Sunday.
