HEADLINES @ 1800Hrs
The day began with overcast skies & some rain around, especially around 0945Hrs. The rest of the morning stayed cloudy, but the afternoon brough some good cloud breaks & some spells of sunshine. Temperatures shot up to 18.7, which helped to trigger a shower mid-afternoon, after which it clouded over at high & medium levels. The day's rain amounted to 1.1mms.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
This evening should remain dry if rather cloudy. Some clear spells should develop overnight & along with light winds should give us quite a chilly night with mist patches by dawn in the valley. Minimum temperature around 5 or 6, with just a chance of a slight ground frost.
OUTLOOK
SUNDAY----A cool start with mist patches, but some sunshine around. Cloud is likely to build during the afternoon, giving the risk of a shower. Feeling rather warm in the sunshine, with a maximum of 17 or 18.
MONDAY----Broken cloud, giving some sunshine but perhaps the odd shower. Rain overnight lasting into Tuesday.
