A close- up of Svartisen Glacier's snout, clearly shows that its area is reducing & that in the recent past, it would have covered the land to its left, which has clearly been ice-eroded.This glacier, like so many on the planet, is becoming a victim of Global Warming. Doubters about what is happening to our climate, should realize that there was never an expectation that there would never be any cold months (like last December)nor that every year would be warmer than the one before. Global warming is a slow process, with fluctuations & temporary reversals.
