There have only been 0.2mms of rain since Friday morning, but sunshine has been conspicuous by its absence. Of the 5 days,4 have been below average on temperature. Sorry that the promised fine spell left a lot to be desired, but at least we had a break from the "monsoon"
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Currently cloudy, with a few slight showers. Showers may become a little heavier at times, before dying out mid-morning. Some dry weather to follow, perhaps with some sunny intervals, before an area of heavier showers affects us later in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures about 16 or 17 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Evening rain clearing to give some late sunshine & some clear spells overnight. Lowest temperature about 8, perhaps with some early morning valley mist patches.
OUTLOOK
THURSDAY----A dry morning with some sunshine is in prospect, but shower cloud will then start to build. Some heavy showers are likely to be around during the afternoon & early evening. As is always the case in showery weather, some spots will get a deluge, while others remain largely dry. Check on raintoday.co.uk Max temp. about 17 or 18.
FRIDAY--- A similar day, with most of the sunshine & dry weather in the morning, with more cloud & the risk of showers p.m.
