It was a rather cloudy day, punctuated this morning by one or two slight showers & this afternoon by a few sunny intervals. It was breezy & cool, with top temperature only 15.4 degrees (pathetic for August)
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
An isolated slight shower is just possible, but much of the time should be dry, with a few sunny intervals this evening & clear spells overnight. Lowest temperature about 7 degrees.
OUTLOOK
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY----A good deal of dry weather, perhaps just the odd light shower. Often rather cloudy, but a few sunny spells likely too. Slightly higher temperatures, but still a little below the late August average day-time value.
