High pressure to the north of Scotland is expected to influence our weather over the coming days.
Today should be largely dry, with any light showers in the region falling mainly further east.. It is, however, likely to stay mostly cloudy at least during this morning, though some lifting & breaking of cloud is likely during the afternoon.
Maximum temperatures will only reach about 16, while winds will blow mainly from between E & SE force 2 or 3.  Overnight should remain dry, with lowest temperatures around 9.
The OUTLOOK is for mainly quiet, dry weather with some sunny intervals, but winds will continue to blow from an easterly quarter, with temperatures pegged at around 16 or 17 by day & perhaps down into high single figures overnight.
