TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Dry with some sunshine, but noticeably cooler & fresher than yesterday, when the pinnacle of the hot spell occurred ( Our region had the highest temperatures in Britain, in excess of 26 degrees). Today is likely to peak closer to 20, with lower humidity as well. Winds will be up to force 3 from the NW. Overnight should be better for those of us who find sleeping difficult in bedroom temperatures in the 21 to 25 bracket!!
The OUTLOOK promises little in the way of useful rainfall, so it may be time to get out the hose pipes & watering cans. Temperatures should return to more normal values.
