TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
There was so much suggestion from the BBC WEATHER last evening that rural areas in the Highlands would be down to 2 or 3 degrees overnight, that my forecast 24hrs ago had been somewhat less precise. So, at least I wasn't too surprised to see on my bedroom display of outside temperature ( 7am) was 9 degrees.
I was, however, even more surprised to open the curtains & have virtually no view, as the FOG was so thick.
Things will improve, but you may have to be patient!!
MAX. TEMP. 18 or 19 WIND Mostly light from SE Overnight---Probably mostly cloudy & mild
WEEKEND---SATURDAY the better day, both rather warm & with some sunshine later. SUNDAY likely to be cooler & more cloudy. Possibly an odd spit of drizzle, though not enough to measure.
