TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
SUNDAY
.
The morning will start cold, cloudy, though bright at times, with light winds & mainly dry. During the afternoon, occasional rain will arrive from the west, though this may be only light at times. It will, however, persist into the evening, when winds are expected to srengthen as a cold front approaches, bringing consequences for Sunday's weather.
Feeling very cold, with a marked wind chill. It will be rather cloudy with a high probability that showers will be frequent & of a wintry nature (sleet or snow ) I think it unlikely, however, that many of the town's population will be urgently engaged in snow clearing on this occasion, though an early look at next week's charts suggests some windy weather ahead & no positive signs of anything much milder.
