THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.

Yesterday was delightful, especially during the afternoon, when largely blue skies were enhanced by some attractive altocumulus cloud formations.   Warmest spots around included Leuchars at 20.8, Edinburgh at 21.6, while south of the Border, places in Worcestershire topped 24 degrees.

TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY

Disappointing!  Mostly cloudy, little or no sunshine, cooler & some rain (mostly light)--this especially pm. Little or no rain am.  In general terms, the weather will be a little better further east, but somewhat worse further west (including for the Scottish Cup Final)
